For maximum achievement, Comfort Keepers tailor Interactive Caregiving to the personality and unique interests and abilities of each senior client.
Interactive Caregiving™ may, for example, include walks in the neighborhood or dancing to music; working together on household chores; discussing current events or personal interests; reminiscing while viewing photo albums; working on hobbies, puzzles or crafts; and going shopping or to church, senior center or civic group activities.
Our Comfort Keepers office provides special care for clients that are experiencing symptoms of dementia. Some clients may experience momentary confusion or lapses in memory, but others are dealing with advanced stages of dementia conditions. Specially trained Comfort Keepers will provide activities that can improve a person’s quality of life such as music and other activities to stimulate the senses.
Our home care professionals in Jacksonville are experienced in assisting elderly clients who need help with activities of daily living. We provide home care services in Jacksonville for Alzheimer’s/Dementia, stroke, multiple sclerosis or Parkinson’s; cancer/oncology and hospice patients; patients recuperating from back, knee, hip, gynecological, urological, general, and heart or plastic surgery.
